[Single] D1 - Better Days @DMWall3
D1 is a rapper/producer hybrid out of Chicago, Illinois. On his latest effort, "Better Days" D1 shows off all of his talents as he makes the beat, writes the bars, and performs it all to a tee. Chicago is most known for the drill-music sound but "Better Days" doesn't follow that sonic structure. The instrumental on "Better Days" is faster than what we are normally used to out of Chicago and D1 has a more bouncy cadence that relies more on steady flow and pocket rather than adlibs and drum leads. D1 has clearly experienced personal obstacles and had people against him, but now he is triumphantly looking forward to better days, listen below and look for more coming from D1 in the near future.

Sean2 Miles new project Heartaches & Turn ups is everything that the title implies. The extremely talented kid out of Farmhaven, Mississippi shows off his versatility as an artist on this well-rounded effort. This early in his career Sean has already worked with legends like Juicy J and Snoop Dogg as an engineer and producer, has 4 #1 records and has broken out with a 3 episode appearance on Bravo's Vanderpump Rules. However, it sounds like he has found his calling behind the microphone. Ranging from hip-hop and R&B to Pop and House music, there really seems to be no sonic limitations to where Sean2 Miles can take it.
The first half of Heartaches & Turn ups (Tracks 1-7) run as the heartaches, a moody collection of records that are driven by well-written and well-performed melodies and vocals. This introspective deep-dive shows how emotionally intelligent Sean is for his age and his ability to connect with his feelings is a testament to his capability as a songwriter. Sean continues to display his versatility on the second half of the tracklist where he starts to pick up the energy and get more experimental with his rapping and beat selection.
